This fall, on September 30th, the Dominican Friars will host the first annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage. This is a national pilgrimage celebrating the Rosary at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. The parish of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena will host a bus for pilgrims who would like to attend the Rosary Pilgrimage.

In the Dominican Healthcare Ministry the Rosary is an invaluable prayer, treasured by our priests and lay volunteers and giving comfort to patients and families. Together we give out thousands of rosaries each year. We will be sending representatives from the healthcare ministry to the Rosary Pilgrimage, joining the parish group, to pray in a special way for the patients, families, and staff that we serve in our hospital and healthcare institutions. Each month the Rosary Pilgrimage features reflections from Dominican friars. In July Fr. Hyacinth Grubb gave a reflection and shared a story about the rosary from our hospital ministry, which you can hear at rosarypilgrimage.org/pilgrimage_novena/july-noven

Please consider joining us in this new and wonderful pilgrimage, and please remember to pray the Rosary for the sick and those who care for them.
